The Cammi Granato Showcase Series, presented by FlipGive, comes to Toronto.

As a female icon in sports, Cammi Granato has partnered with CCT to lead the way and help show our commitment to female youth in sports by encouraging them to push boundaries, power up their game & be fearless on and off the ice.

TORONTO, ONT. – Girls hockey continues to be on display in Toronto with the inaugural Cammi Granato Showcase Series presented by FlipGive set to drop the puck on August 27th at Canlan Sports York. Featuring 45 girls’ hockey teams from across Ontario in divisions from U11 to U18, the Toronto edition of the Showcase series is all about the experience for players on, and off the ice.

“I have two young kids who play travel hockey, so our family knows firsthand just what it costs to suit up every season,” said Mark Bachman, FlipGive co-founder and CEO. “If we are going to continue growing our game and ensure girls have every opportunity to compete at the highest level, it is imperative that we keep innovating and finding new ways for parents and families to raise the money they need to keep their daughters on the ice. By partnering with two leaders in girls hockey, Cammi Granato and Canlan Sports, we hope to advance our mission of having no family choose between their budget and keeping their daughter in sports.”

Player Appearances

Former Team Canada Olympians Jayna Hefford and Vicky Sunohara – with a combined six Olympic Gold Medals between them – will be on-site for autographs and photos at Canlan Sports York on August 28th from 10:00 – 2:00 p.m. Oh, and this tournament wouldn’t be the Cammi Granato showcase without an appearance by the 1998 American Olympic Gold Medalist and Seattle Kraken pro scout, who will be on-site on August 28th and August 29th!
