Are skate aids available to use or rental during my party/event?

Is someone on the ice to help?
Last Updated: June 26, 2026Ice bookings do not include an on-ice monitor. An on-ice monitor can be arranged at the time of booking.
Can we rent skates for my birthday party/event?
Last Updated: June 26, 2026Rentals are available at some locations. Please inquire at the time of booking to ensure that we are able to accommodate. If skate rental are available the Manager on Duty can assist your group on the day of your event.
Are helmets required for my birthday party/event?
Last Updated: June 26, 2026Depending on regional differences, helmets may or may not be required for skating parties/events. CSA approved helmets are required when sticks and pucks are used.
Are gratuities included?

Can we bring snacks, fruit trays, or drinks?
Last Updated: June 26, 2026No, all outside food and drink are not permitted and can be provided through Canlan Sports.
Can we bring a birthday cake or cupcakes?
Last Updated: June 26, 2026Yes, you are more than welcome to bring your own cake or cupcakes for your party/event. If you require any fridge or freezer storage please let us know at the time of your booking.
Can I bring outside food and drink to my birthday party or event?
Last Updated: June 26, 2026All food and beverages must be provided by Canlan Sports. Outside food and drink are not permitted except for birthday cakes or cupcakes. For any dietary concerns or restrictions please contact your local complex.
How long do we have the party/event room for?
Last Updated: June 26, 2026The room is available until the end of your scheduled booking. We kindly ask that all guests and personal belongings are removed by that time so our team can prepare the room for the next event. Can we bring our own decorations?
Last Updated: June 26, 2026Absolutely! You’re more than welcome to bring your own decorations. We just ask that everything is safe and nothing is pinned or taped to the wall to avoid any damage and protect the space.
