Toronto, ON., October 19, 2026 – Canlan Ice Sports Corp. (“Canlan Sports”) (TSX: ICE), the operator of 15 sports complexes across Canada and the United States and home to the world’s largest adult recreational hockey league, today launched Resurface the Game, a new experience that puts guests behind the wheel of a two-seat, fully electric Engo ice resurfacer alongside a trained Canlan Sports Ice Maintenance Specialist. No skates, gear or hockey experience required: just a valid driver’s licence and a minimum age of 18.

The Drive: Your turn to own the ice
Built for the fan who always stays to watch the flood. After a quick orientation, education about the history of the ice resurfacer and safety video, head behind the scenes on an escorted tour of the ice plant, then take supervised laps on a full sheet of ice. Every driver leaves with an official Driver Certificate, exclusive Resurface the Game merchandise, video, photo and participates in a celebratory meal.

Skip the predictable dinner reservation. Put the guest of honour in the driver’s seat for a milestone birthday, a surprise for a lifelong hockey fan or any occasion worth remembering, while friends and family cheer from the boards.

The Corporate Drive: Trade the boardroom for the driver’s seat
On the ice, the new hire and the CEO start as equals, because neither has driven an ice resurfacer before. That shared first, makes The Corporate Drive a natural fit for team building, client appreciation and partner hospitality.
Packages from $2,000 include drives for up to 10 guests, sport simulator time and a private meeting room. Add guests, additional catering, participant jerseys or private ice to upgrade your event or for larger groups.
Safety built in
Every driver must be 18+ with a valid driver’s licence and must complete an orientation before taking the wheel. An Ice Maintenance Specialist rides alongside, with the ability to stop the machine; and the escorted plant tour includes protective equipment.
